Payback by Anonymus!!!! Well done on the name of "The Internet People"

Operation Payback brings you #OpSony

Dear Greedy Motherfuckers SONY,

Congratulations! You are now receiving the attention of Anonymous. Your recent legal actions against fellow internet citizens, GeoHot and Graf_Chokolo have been deemed an unforgivable offense against free speech and internet freedom, primary sources of free lulz (and you know how we feel about lulz.)

You have abused the judicial system in an attempt to censor information about how your products work. You have victimized your own customers merely for possessing and sharing  information, and continue to target those who seek this information. In doing so you have violated the privacy of thousands of innocent people who only sought the free distribution of information. Your suppression of this information is motivated by corporate greed and the desire for complete control over the actions of individuals who purchase and use your products, at least when those actions threaten to undermine the corrupt stranglehold you seek to maintain over copywrong, oops, "copyright".

Your corrupt business practices are indicative of a corporate philosophy that would deny consumers the right to use products they have paid for, and rightfully own, in the manner of their choosing. Perhaps you should alert your customers to the fact that they are apparently only renting your products? In light of this assault on both rights and free expression, Anonymous, the notoriously handsome rulers of the internet, would like to inform you that you have only been "renting" your web domains. Having trodden upon Anonymous' rights, you must now be trodden on.

If you disagree with the disciplinary actions against your private parts domains, then we trust you can also understand our motivations for these actions. You own your domains. You paid for them with your own money. Now Anonymous is attacking your private property because we disagree with your actions. And that seems, dare we say it, "wrong." Sound familiar?

Let Anonymous teach you a few important lessons that your mother forgot:
1. Don't do it to someone else if you don't want it to be done to you.
2. Information is free.
3. We own this. Forever.

As for the "judges" and complicit legal entities who have enabled these cowards: You are no better than SONY itself in our eyes and remain guilty of undermining the well-being of the populace and subverting your judicial mandate.

SQL Injection Attacks "How to" Guide

SQL INJECTION “HOW TO” GUIDE!!!
What is a SQL Injection and what is use for??

SQL injection is a type of exploit attack in which the attacker injects or adds a malicious code to gain access  to a Web form usually an user's authentication box. SQL injection codes takes advantage of insecure code systems connected to the World Wide Web. For more information about SQL Injection you can visit the following website.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SQL_injection

Today am going to show you guys how to use SQL Injection to gain administrator access to vulnerable websites; below is the user name and password that am going to use today!!

Remember that is illegal to gain administrator access without the permission of the website administrator, and this guide is just for educational purpose so most website can be protected against this type of attacks..

User:Admin <-------- default user account
Password:1'or'1'='1 <----- “malicious code” there are many malicious SQL other example could be 0'or'0'='0. In some cases you can use 1'or'1'='1 as user's account as well.

Now to find our victims website we just type the following on Google admin.login.asp to find the vulnerable websites to SQL Injection..

Here we type the user's name and password user:admin password:1'or'1'='1

As you can see we are inside of our victim database as easy as that!!!

As you can there are some products that the website have, and the option if I want to add a new product!

Here is the products price update screen .. we are able to change the prices right here!!!!

Most of this SQL Injection would not work on well protected website ..

Remember that is illegal to use this on websites that you don't have the permission to test..

On the next “how to guide” I would show you how to use advanced exploitation techniques to exploit secure and sophisticated websites by using applications to detect access control vulnerabilities. However I can only show you the entrance the rest is for yourself to research and learn on your own!!!

Using OPEN DNS FOR FASTER WEB BROWSING....

Open DNS server, is the #1 DNS service provider around the world. OpenDNS is FREE and do not require you  to download anything. Moreover, it will not replace your existing Internet connection it will just make it better. Also, OpenDNS offers some other free services. For more information about OpenDNS please visit the official home page.

Here is what you must do. Please back up your DNS addresses before replacing them with the ones from OpenDNS, in case you want to return to them later for whatever  reason. The DNS server addresses for OpenDNS are:

208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

For static IP Address

If you have a static IP address that you must manually configure in order to have Internet access, please use the following method.

Open a console and type:
CODE
sudo gedit /etc/resolv.conf

and add the following lines, above the existing lines in that file:

nameserver 208.67.222.222
nameserver 208.67.220.220

For Dynamic IP address (DHCP)

If you are using a dynamic IP address (DHCP), that means you get your Internet  IP address, subnet mask, DNS and gateway automatically from your ISP's DHCP server, please follow the instructions below:

Open a console and type:
CODE
sudo gedit /etc/dhcp3/dhclient.conf

Replace the line that says:

#prepend domain-name-servers 127.0.0.1;

with this one:

prepend domain-name-servers 208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220;

Restart your network for the changes to take effect:
CODE
sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart

For Ubuntu users

If you use Ubuntu, please go to System -> Administration -> Networking, click on the third tab (DNS) and add, one by one, the OpenDNS addresses on top of the first field (DNS Servers). Close the window and restart your computer

HOW TO FIX WMID DEVICES!!! ERROR ON YOUR NETBOOK...

This tutorial will help you on how to fix Acer-wmi unable to detect available WMID devices error on UBUNTU NETBOOK and all Operating System run by UBUNTU

The error appears on most of NETBOOKS build by Acer, like as Acer Aspire One or Acer eMachines, after a system update.

This bug has been tested with the Easy Peasy 1.6 and Ubuntu NETBOOK Remix 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx) operating systems. After the installation there seems to be no problems at all, and everything works perfectly . But, if the end user updates the machine, after a reboot, the above issue will appear on your screen..

The "acer-wmi: unable to detect available WMID devices" error is very annoying because it will also break your boot splash screen. So, if you are one of those who instead of looking at a nice splash screen while your NETBOOK reboots Ubuntu, get the "acer-wmi: unable to detect available WMID devices" error, follow the next steps to get it fix.

- Hit the ALT+F2 key combination;
- On the "Run Application" dialog that is going to appear, make sure you check the "Run in terminal" option;

Type this following command:

gksu echo blacklist acer-wmi | sudo tee -a /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-acer-wmi.conf

- Click the "Run" button to execute the above command.

After this, a terminal window will appear and you will be asked for your password. Input the password, hit Enter, and the terminal window should dissapear instantly, and everything should be taking care of!!!!

What will this fix do? it will blacklist acer-wmi and you will no longer see the "acer-wmi: unable to detect available WMID devices" error! From now on, your NETBOOK should reboot the operating system in a normally way, without any issues , and  you should see the nice splash screen.

Backtrack Forensic Tools

Backtrack 4 Forensics Capabilities

When you first boot up the new Backtrack 4, you may have noticed something slightly different. So what is this “Start BackTrack Forensics” option about?

Live CDs and Forensics

For a long time now, Linux Live CDs have been very useful for forensic acquisition purposes in instances where for one reason or another you can’t utilize a hardware write blocker. When configured not to automount drives, and a little bit of know how, a Linux Live CD can be a wonderful software write blocker. For a Linux live CD to be considered for this purpose however, it is of the utmost importance that the use of the live CD in no way alters any data in any manner. In the past, this ruled out the use of Backtrack for forensic purposes. Backtrack would automount available drives and utilize swap partitions where available. This could cause all sorts of havoc, changing last mount times, altering data on disk, and so on. Well, no longer! The Backtrack 4 Live CD has incorporated changes to allow a boot mode which is forensically clean. This is great news, as with Backtrack being such a popular live CD, a copy can often be found close at hand.

How?

So, lets have the scoop. Forensic people are often detail oriented and very conservative, so how do we know it is safe to use? Well, first off the Backtrack 4 Live CD is based off of Casper, and contains no filesystem automount scripts at all. The system initialization scripts have been altered in the forensic boot mode so that Backtrack 4 will not look for or make use of any swap partitions which are contained on the system. All those scripts have been removed from the system.

Verification

To test this functionality, we have tested this boot mode with multiple hardware configurations. For each test, we took a before MD5 snapshot of the system disks, booted BT4 in forensic boot mode, verified no file systems were mounted and swap was not in use, did a number of activities on the system, then shut the system back down and took an after MD5 snapshot. In comparing the two MD5 snapshots, in every case they were a match, demonstrating no changes on the disks has been made. So, can you trust Backtrack 4 for your forensic purposes? Well, not until you verify it as well! Just like any forensic tool, its negligent to just take someone else’s word that any tool works properly. Its up to you to independently verify the tool before you use it. We expect your results will match ours, and you will find Backtrack 4 is a great addition to you tool set. (And, if your results find a problem, please let us know ASAP and include details as to how you conducted your testing. As, that would be a real problem.)

Usage

When you utilize Backtrack for forensics purposes, be sure you don’t let it go through an unattended boot. Default boot for Backtrack is standard boot mode, which will use swap partitions if they are present. There is a nice long delay however, so you will have plenty of time to select the proper boot mode. Also, please remember, this is a Linux distribution. It is highly suggested that you become familiar with Linux before use this, or any other Linux Live CD for any forensic purpose. Also, be sure to check out the additional forensic tools added to Backtrack 4. We have concentrated on the addition of imaging and triage tools, but if you find that one of your favorite utilities is not in place please let us know so we can look into having it added.
