Once you download your UBUNTU 10.10 copy you can either burn it to a CD or copy to your USB.

If you burn the cd just set up your PC to reboot from CD. If you choose to use an USB device you need

to download Unetbooting. I have a link available on my site as well.Once you download it, just

add the Ubuntu image to Unetbooting and reboot your PC via USB device..

After you choose your best preference here is when the fun begins. The installation process will startup in a couple minutes and you should get a screen like this one below...

After couple minutes the default language will pop-up... choose your default language of preference..

I will choose the download updates option while installing UBUNTU 10.10. It would be up to you which option to select, if you select the download update option keep in mint that the installation process will be a little be longer than, the regular installation..

After the update option, the allocate space option appears you can either do a clean option , or you can specify a manually partition (for advanced user) Today we'll do a clean installation “recommended” by erasing and using the entire disk..

Make sure yo have a least 10gb of hard drive space for your Operating System to be more reliable , so here the official installation begins...

The next option would be your default location , here your system time gets set up
automatically depending in your geographical location....

Now we have the keyboard option, pick one and click forward ….
